What is Chabad of Chula Vista?
“Where Community is Family” is our motto and modus operandi. For real.
Since we arrived 2 ½ years ago, we’ve been here for you; to help you do Jewish with love and warmth. Our rented home quickly became a welcoming community center, where so many different types of people feel comfortable hanging out, learning, praying, singing, eating, connecting and belonging; celebrating their Jewishness.
Big Changes
In early November, we were informed that we couldn’t renew our lease, and had until December 31st to find a new home for our beloved community (and us.) Catalyzed by the urgent need, and the tremendous growth of our community, we decided to move forward and purchase a PERMANENT home for our Center. This great opportunity to have Chabad of Chula Vista put down stronger roots will benefit us all, giving us a permanent space to increase our unique programming.
Movin’ UP
Our new Center will expand the “mi casa es su casa” approach we so enjoy sharing with you. A bigger synagogue, learning and activity centers, family quarters for hosting sumptuous Shabbat and holiday meals and hanging out over a cup of tea.-- our Center is your Center and we are excited to turn this exciting vision into reality!
